This particular client has a midfoot varus deformity that results in a curved lateral midfoot area and a very high top of the foot. Regular shoes tend to fit tightly on the top and press the lateral area of the fifth metatarsal, causing discomfort. However, our fully custom-made shoes have enabled the client to have a comfortable and attractive shoe that accommodates the deformity. The best part is that other people don’t even realize it.
