This client has a condition called adult acquired flat feet, which has resulted in their feet taking on a “C” shape. It is difficult to find comfortable shoes that can accommodate both of these deformities. In this case, it was necessary to create custom-made shoes that could accommodate the “C” shape on the lateral border while still allowing for enough space in the navicular area to support the dropped arch.
